 LOCKERS OR STORAGE INFO

At The Zima Fest, we advise you to carry as little expensive or precious valuables, electronic goods or documents as possible. If you are comfortable, keep these goods in your hotel rooms. While we endeavor to make this a secure and worry-free experience, vigilance and care practiced personally is of utmost importance.

 ALLOWED & PROHIBITED ITEMS

To keep The Zimafest secure and accident-free, we request you to follow the given guidelines diligently.

 PERMITTED ITEMS

Digital/disposable pocket cameras, Phone chargers, Sunscreen lotion, Cosmetic products, Roll-on deodorant

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Outside food items, beverages or alcohol, Sprays and flammable liquids such as perfume, gas, lighters, Pyrotechnical objects such as Bengal lights etc., Any sharp, dangerous items that may cause harm (includes but not limited to Swiss knives, blades, daggers), Signage/banners with controversial messaging that may hurt the sentiments of other festival attendees, Pets/animals

It’s important to us that every visitor to the festival feels comfortable and enjoys Zimafest to its fullest. Security at festival venue entrances may confiscate disallowed items if found, and will not be held responsible for their maintenance and safekeeping. In the case of any of these regulations being violated despite warning, the person(s) responsible for violation may be asked to leave the premises.

SAFETY & MEDICAL

Though we would love to have a mishap- and sickness-free festival, with a diverse crowd at the venue, we cannot discount any scenario.

At all times during the festival, our volunteers, team, medical crew and ambulance on stand-by will be available for assistance. In case of emergencies or assistance, simply notify the nearest team-member, and we’ll step in. Do communicate an accurate medical history to your friends who you are enjoying The Zimafest with and to the team on-ground to help us help you quicker.

 

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Want to be part of the festival beyond being only a visitor? It’ll be a pleasure to work with you. Write to and tell us the field of training that you can assist in, at info@zimafest.com If you aren’t a resident of India or a long-term resident, do ensure you have a non-tourist visa.

 

TICKET FAQs

CAN I BUY A TICKET WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes. Tickets will be available at the venue during the festival days – January 23 to 25, between 10 am and 9.30 pm. We recommend that you book tickets before hand because tickets at the venue will be subject to availability.

DOES THE TICKET PRICE INCLUDE FOOD AND DRINKS

The ticket only includes entry charge. All other services are chargeable.

DO I HAVE TO BUY SEPARATE TICKETS FOR EACH DAY

While tickets for separate days are available, if you plan to attend both days (and we really hope you do!) we recommend the two-day ticket, which is priced lower than two individual day tickets.

BOX OFFICE LOCATION & HOURS

The Ticket Box Office is located at the festival entrance on January 22 to 25, 2015; and open between 10am – 9.30pm.

OFFICIAL WRISTBAND/BRACELET POLICY

All tickets sales are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.  |  Wristbands cannot be exchanged or transferred.  |  Don’t tamper with, cut or stretch your wrist-bands. They are waterproof and hence do not need to be taken off in the shower.  |  Only those with valid wristbands will be allowed entry into the festival premises.

EXITING & RE-ENTERING THE FESTIVAL

Have your wristband on, and not carrying prohibited items? Exit and re-enter as you please. You will be checked at security every time you enter, and we suggest you stay at the venue to soak in the The Zimafest experience entirely!

CHILDREN AT THE ZIMA FEST

Children (above the age of 3) are only allowed in the VIP area. The decibels of music at The Zimafest may be harmful for children’s ears.
